What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Paralegal - Chancery Court position at JURISolutions Legal (JSL)?
JURISolutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our client's attorneys handling complex commercial litigation matters, with a strong focus on cases before the Delaware Court of Chancery. This role will be responsible for assisting in all phases of litigation, including drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery materials; managing e-filings in Delaware courts; organizing case files and exhibits; and supporting deposition, hearing, and trial preparation. The paralegal will also track deadlines, maintain calendars and case management systems, conduct docket reviews, and coordinate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Additional responsibilities may include supporting bankruptcy-related matters and assisting with administrative and operational needs within our client's Delaware office.
The ideal candidate will have at least four years of Delaware paralegal experience and demonstrated familiarity with the Delaware Court of Chancery, including its e-filing procedures. A bachelor’s degree and completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program are preferred. Candidates should possess exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities from multiple attorneys across offices in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and document management platforms such as Relativity is required. Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed and accurate tracking of billable time in accordance with firm policies are also expected.
