Generalist - Due Diligence Attorney (H)

JURISolutions is partnering with our corporate client to identify a Leasing Generalist who has established themselves as a subject matter expert. This role is REMOTE and focused on effective support that includes virtual data room (VDR) oversight and due diligence coordination, employment-related due diligence, risk assessment and virtual data room (VDR) review to ensure successful deal execution and smooth employee transitions.

We are seeking a versatile and business-minded Leasing Generalist Attorney to join our legal team and support a dynamic portfolio of commercial real estate assets across the U.S. This role will play a key part in lease negotiation, portfolio management, and M&A transaction support, including virtual data room (VDR) oversight and due diligence coordination.

Critical Areas Of Responsibility Include

• Draft, review, and negotiate leasing documents including letters of intent, leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, terminations, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, and commencement letters
• Manage leasing workflows across retail, office, industrial, and hospitality assets
• Collaborate with leasing agents, finance teams, and external counsel to streamline deal execution
• Analyze and summarize material litigation disclosed in VDRs, including forum, status, and dispute resolution mechanisms
• Review property and equipment leases for key terms, obligations, and risk exposure
• Identify and assess liens filed against or held by the target entity
• Evaluate lease obligations and prepare disclosure schedules
• Coordinate lease assignments and consents with internal stakeholders
• Organize and maintain VDR materials for legal due diligence
• Ensure accurate indexing and categorization of lease documents
• Monitor access and respond to buyer inquiries
• Flag material lease terms and potential liabilities
• Partner with Labor & Employment Counsel to assess corporate ethics policies and procedures
• Support broader legal due diligence efforts by identifying compliance gaps and legal risks
