Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Production Manager in the Bronx, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, and quality control departments.
- Manage the raw material purchasing and receiving processes to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients for production.
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and standards, including HACCP, SQF, and other independent audits.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production efficiency while maintaining product quality.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve production targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production schedules.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Liaise with senior management to provide regular updates on plant operations, performance, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 8 years experience in a USDA facility
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP Good Manufacturing Practice and other regulatory standards applicable to food manufacturing
- Proven track record of effectively managing large teams and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
