Information Technology Manager

THE ROLE

We are seeking an IT Administrator to support our growing U.S. operations as we scale our presence in the defense sector. You will own the day-to-day administration of our IT environment, ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant with U.S. government cybersecurity requirements. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, user support, and compliance across the organization.

As a key member of our Operations team, you will partner closely with Engineering, Security, and Leadership to maintain a secure, audit-ready environment that enables mission-critical work supporting the United States and its allies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own day-to-day IT operations across our U.S. offices, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and highly available.
• Administer and secure corporate infrastructure, including user identities, endpoints, networks, cloud services, and collaboration platforms.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls aligned with NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, CMMC Level 2, and ITAR requirements.
• Maintain a continuous state of audit readiness by managing System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and third-party assessors to support security initiatives and compliance activities.
• Provision, onboard, and offboard employees while enforcing least-privilege access controls.
• Monitor system health, security alerts, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts across the IT environment.
• Develop, document, and improve IT policies, procedures, and operational processes as the organization grows.
• Track security initiatives, compliance milestones, and IT projects to ensure timely completion.
• Provide technical support to employees while delivering a high-quality end-user experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and operational efficiency across the IT environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support within U.S. government or defense environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, and endpoint management platforms.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and security hardening.
• Experience supporting environments subject to NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, CMMC Level 2, ITAR, or similar government compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing identity and access management, endpoint security, patch management, and device lifecycle administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience supporting Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations.
• Hands-on experience preparing organizations for CMMC Level 2 certification or similar cybersecurity audits.
• Experience administering cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting startup or rapidly scaling technology organizations.
• Industry certifications such as Security , CISSP, Microsoft Certified, Azure Administrator, or equivalent.
