Senior Business Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and execution-oriented Senior Business Insights Analyst to accelerate the development and optimization of analytics solutions that support strategic leaders across our Agile delivery ecosystem. This role is hands-on and fast paced. We’re looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise in SQL, dashboarding, and Agile tools, with a strong preference for experience in Atlassian Analytics. Your work will directly empower leadership decision-making with timely, high-quality data insights and reporting execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to support high-impact analytics and reporting needs.
• Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards using Atlassian Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Translate business questions into data-driven insights by integrating data from multiple systems and surfacing key metrics.
• Configure, support, and optimize reporting in Jira and Jira Align to enable clear visibility for Agile delivery teams.
• Rapidly execute reporting needs in alignment with organizational OKRs and leadership requests.
• Act as a responsive partner to strategic leaders—translating goals into measurable reporting and analytics deliverables.
• (Preferred) Provide guidance on Agile reporting best practices and help reinforce execution-focused ways of working.

Qualifications:

• Strong execution skills and ability to operate with urgency and focus.
• Proven expertise in SQL and experience writing complex queries in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced proficiency in dashboarding tools.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Jira Align for configuration and reporting.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align with leadership priorities.
• Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

(Preferred)

• Experience with OKRs, Agile coaching, or Agile reporting frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence development, including hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms for a variety of applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI solutions that address complex business challenges.
