What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer position at Judge Consulting Group?
This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire Role.
Must have:
- Cisco route / switch experience to include configuration and troubleshooting of L2, L3, OSPF, route maps, HSRP, Spanning Tree, VRF, GRE tunnels.
- Cisco SDWAN experience to include deployment and configuration of vEdges and cEdges leveraging pre-defined templates and ability to troubleshoot them.
- Ability to create configs from pre-defined templates for vEdge and cEdges.
- Working knowledge of using VManage and TACACS.
- Experience working with remote consoles, VPNs and jump boxes to access remote environments, as the equipment will all be configured remotely.
- Experience working with business/enterprise WAN circuits.
- Bring up, troubleshooting, basic understanding of carrier equipment.
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes.
- Willingness to stop, think, and ask, when situations that don't align to standards are encountered in the field.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of BGP, OMP, policy routing, SilverPeak, Fortigate.
- Meraki route/switch experience, along with Meraki Console.
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting of Cisco and SilverPeak SDWAN environments.
- Experience troubleshooting multi-VRF environments.
- CCNA, CCNP
