What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Material Handler position at JR MANUFACTURING INC?
Position Summary:
Tasks given by Team Leader daily, ensure that your responsibilities are completed in a Safe Manner, while ensuring Quality of product and Efficiencies are exceeded.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Enforcement of Safety policy
- Make sure Quality parts are being made, stop production if defective or unsafe parts or conditions appear
- Load tubes into hoppers
- Weigh, label, and move full containers to shipping rows
- Bring empty containers to operators as needed
- Bring components/containers/etc. to benders/welders
- Help with shipping/receiving if needed
- Empty wood bundling hopper and scrap hoppers during shift
- Ensure 5's activities are being implemented and monitored
- Assist in the problem solving and continuous improvement processes
- Work overtime with little or no notice
- Communicate and work effectively with direct reports, peers, and management
- All other duties as assigned by your Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager

Salary : $22 - $25
