What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator- 1st Shift position at JR MANUFACTURING INC?
Position Summary:
Tasks given by Team Leader daily, ensure that your responsibilities are completed in a Safe Manner, while ensuring Quality of product and Efficiencies are exceeded.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure 5's Activities are being implemented and monitored
- Safe work environment is always first priority make sure everything you are doing is safe and if you believe something is not safe please inform
- Balance safety, quality, morale, and productivity to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Ensure that quality finished goods are being built and that they meet the customer’s quality specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
- Team members must follow established policies and procedures.
- Assist in the problem solving and continuous improvement processes.
- Be constructive in feedback and instructions.
- Communicate and work effectively with direct reports, peers, and management.
- Making sure all process sheets are filled out daily: Start up checklist, In-Process Inspection Sheets, Feeder Logs
- Work Stations are cleaned before your shift is over

- High degree of professionalism along with organizational skills, tact, and diplomacy.
