Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our Maintenance team here in Hackensack, NJ. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and reliability of our property infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of building systems, with a primary focus on plumbing installations, boiler maintenance, fixtures, and piping.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for plumbing and other mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and contractors on major maintenance projects and renovations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Support HVAC maintenance tasks such as filter changes, thermostat checks, and system inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Strong understanding of construction inspection procedures, system design principles, and technical writing standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

• On-call for services as necessary including nights and weekends
• Must have own tools
• Customer Service Skills
• Basic Phone and Computer Skills
• Physical Requirements include heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing and frequent bending and kneeling
  
  

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00/hr
