Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our IMC Cardiovascular and Telemetry units in
Shreveport. You will provide specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions using
continuous telemetry monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor continuous cardiac telemetry, identify arrhythmias, and notify the care team of critical findings.
• Provide nursing care for patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and post-cath conditions.
• Administer cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, and vasoactive agents.
• Prepare and safely manage arterial lines, central venous catheters, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
• Coordinate care with cardiologists, pharmacists, respiratory therapy, and case management.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses with accuracy and timeliness.
Education: BSN preferred; ADN from an accredited program accepted.
Experience: 1 year of telemetry, cardiac step-down, or cardiovascular nursing experience preferred.
