Plant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the plant. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of operations management, lean manufacturing principles, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency while minimizing waste.
• Oversee the manufacturing processes, ensuring that all products meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to drive process improvements and optimize workflows.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee engagement in problem-solving initiatives.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in operations management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of operations management principles, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with MRP systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration across departments.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
