POSITION SUMMARY:
A limited term position intended for professional development program designed to expose university students to today's challenging healthcare landscape and to encourage interest in healthcare professions. Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and discretion due to potential exposure to patient and financial information.
Shift: Day Shift, 8 Hours Per Week, Casual / On Call
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manages assigned projects to completion within allocated timelines and ensures project is complete and consultation has occurred with all appropriate parties.
- Maintains frequent check-ins with supervisor in order to keep updated on goals and to report on project momentum.
- Demonstrates growth by becoming more independent on projects and knowing correct contacts for information.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement efforts as assigned by supervisor in order to apply management techniques and advance strategic goals of the department.
- Proactively identifies potential projects for the department and identifies possible role for themselves or team member on the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in a variety of professions supporting the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of basic concepts in the field of study.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range: Minimum 15.23/hour - Maximum 21.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
