What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Coordinator position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
The Patient Service Coordinator with Park Medical Associates coordinates activities and all administrative tasks for patients and their designated physicians. The position requires inital and follow-up care coordination within a multifaceted clinical office. This position requires the candidate to regularly contact patients, patient families, physicians, insurance companies, and third party insurance companies related to patient care. Park Medical is a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians. Location is Lutherville, MD.
Shift
Monday -Friday, Day shift, full-time
Qualificiations:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of two-years of work experience in a medical office
- Proven stability in previous positions
Reqired Knowledge and Skills Include:
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology required
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance terminology and insurance plans required

Salary Range: Minimum $18.00hour - Maximum $21.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
