The it Staff member is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer system, networks,and hardware. This role ensuressmooth daily operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting employees with technology-related needs.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Installing and configuring computerhardware, software, systems,networks, printers, scanners, mobile phones, among other IT devices
- Monitoring and maintaining computersystems and networks, including backups, and other IT devices such as security cameras, alarms, access control, UPS, etc.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issuesand requests
- Providing technical supportand training acrossthe company (including MPA)
- Setting up accountsfor new users.
- Create user guides and manualsand provide trainingto staff on new systems.
- Purchasing efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Keeping abreast of technology trendsand development, and testing new technology
- Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to implement and maintain security controls
- Planning and overseeing projectsby coordinating with developers to build and implement technology solutions (e.g., Net at Work, ScanForce, SPS, ASCI, AI)
- Communicating with all departments to understand theirrequirements
- Revising existing systems and suggesting improvements
- Designing efficient IT systems to meet businessand technology needs
- Support cybersecurity efforts,including antivirus and data protection measures.
- Inventory Management for IT related devices.
OTHER RESPONSABILITIE
- SOther IT relatedprojects and/or tasks as Management requests within reason
