We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, generating new revenue, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and delivering customized HVAC solutions that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial HVAC knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of successfully closing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, including C-level executives, facility managers, engineers, property managers, and business owners.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Sell HVAC service agreements, repair services, retrofit projects, and energy-efficiency solutions.
  • Navigate complex organizations to influence decision-makers and advance sales opportunities.

Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation

  • Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bid packages based on project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Conduct professional sales presentations and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining targeted profit margins.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through project award and contract execution.
  • Organize and prepare bid documentation while ensuring proposal accuracy and completeness.

Account Management & Customer Service

  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts through relationship management and consultative selling.
  • Collaborate with operations, service, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
  • Track sales performance, forecasts, and account activity.
  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely follow-up and execution of customer commitments.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial HVAC sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, industry practices, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales goals.
  • Experience selling to both technical and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly to customer sites.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience selling HVAC service agreements, retrofit projects, energy solutions, and capital equipment projects.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
