Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Coordinator / Recruiter to support our staffing operations. This dual-role position is responsible for accurate payroll processing while actively recruiting, onboarding, and supporting associates placed with our clients. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll CoordinationProcess weekly payroll accurately and on timeReview and audit timecards (manual entries, meal penalties, corrections, holiday pay, etc.)Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and company policiesResolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiriesMaintain accurate payroll documentation and recordsCoordinate payroll updates such as pay rate changes, bonuses, and retro payRecruitment & StaffingRecruit, screen, and interview candidates for open job ordersConduct onboarding (applications, I-9, W-4, policies, and dispatch forms)Match candidates to client job requirements and schedulesCoordinate assignments, start dates, and first-day follow-upsMaintain accurate candidate profiles and notes in the ATS/payroll systemCommunicate with clients regarding staffing needs and attendance issuesQualifications1–2 years of experience in payroll, recruiting, staffing, or HR operationsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet weekly deadlinesExperience with payroll or ATS systems (Avionté or similar preferred)Knowledge of timekeeping, meal/rest compliance, and basic labor lawsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not requiredSkills Organized and process-drivenConfidentiality and professionalismProblem-solving and follow-throughStrong written and verbal communicationTeam-oriented with a hands-on approachCompany DescriptionJōbSource connects qualified candidates with the country’s top companies.
