What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenace Technician position at JobSource?
The Service and Maintenance Technician will keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in good condition. Duties may involve pipe fitting, insulating; welding, machining; carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment, repairing tiles, floors or stairs.Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:• Maintain water beaters and boilers where applicable.• Replace light bulbs in all facilities.• Move furniture and appliances as needed.• Install doors and minor structure items.• Maintain simple plumbing repairs in all facilities (toilets, replace faucets, etc.)• Repair tables, chairs, and any company item.• Maintain safe environment.• Prepare and paint facilities, interior and exterior, as warranted.• Construct small carpentry items as needed.• Maintain equipment used at stores and warehouses, such as conditioners, refrigerators/freezers, blenders,etc).• Other duties as needed.Job Requirements:• At least one (1) year of experience.• Must be able to work flexible schedules and be available for on-calls.• Must have the ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.• Must have the ability to work independently without supervision.• Must be safety orientated, with full physical mobility, and physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.• Periodically check and maintain facilities.• Clean up vandalism as warranted.• Maintain facilities restrooms (toilets, sinks, floors, lighting, toilet paper, etc.)• Must wear uniforms.
