We are looking for individuals who possess the required credentials (Series 7 & 63 or similar, clean U-4, etc) and have at least 3 years of experience working in the financial planning industry, with a focus on investments. Qualified individuals should have experience trading, servicing, processing paperwork, and the ability to communicate with clients and answer questions related to investments. - Support advisors with day-to-day workflow
- Prepare & update excel models as well as other documents
- Provide administrative coordination with trading, operations, and client service areas
- Help develop comprehensive financial plans for existing and prospective clients
- Trade incoming accounts based on buy, sell, hold (BSH) analysis
- Execute ad hoc trades based on client needs
- Tax loss harvesting, brokerage and 529 trades
- Learn how to structure, manage and monitor investment portfolios
- Analyze prospective and existing client portfolios
- Develop new and enhance currently existing service models
- Conduct research projects on client accounts or business activities
- Work with clients to open accounts, transfer money in/out, address any service needs
- Have completed an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field at an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Currently hold Series 7 and 63 licenses
- At least 3 years working in the wealth management industry, with a specific focus on investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- Prior experience with database management
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Working towards a CFP or other financial industry designation
