Responsibilities:
- Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to existing operations.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing solutions to realize these improvements.
- Conduct PFMEAs to identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality, and logistics, to ensure alignment and cohesion in manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards across all manufacturing operations.
- Train team members on new processes and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- One or more years of experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with new product introduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
- Understanding of PFMEA's
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse groups to achieve common goals.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
