Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure. This role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of hardware, cabling, and operational procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient data center operations.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure. This role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of hardware, cabling, and operational procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, stage, set up, and perform equipment startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) in accordance with documented instructions, checklists, standard protocols, and deployment guides.
- Perform post-deployment quality checks to verify proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling in compliance with safety standards and Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, quickly identifying root causes and replacing faulty components following established procedures.
- Decommission hardware for standard changes and refresh activities (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) with minimal guidance.
- Follow established communication, reporting, and escalation procedures to ensure issues are raised promptly to Datacenter Technician Leads.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to deployments, changes, and incidents.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Prior data center experience.
- Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack deployments and structured cabling.
