Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Process Engineer with a robust background in electronics manufacturing to support new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing process improvement, and documentation control. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost across cable, harness, and electronics assembly operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Sales and Program Management.
- Support manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
- Review and approve product and process documentation, including routers and work instructions.
- Train manufacturing personnel on established processes.
- Maintain revision-controlled documentation.
- Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Develop new processes focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support internal audits for AS9100 / ISO9001 compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing process engineering.
- Ability to support new product introductions from development into full production.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
- Application of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of change control, including BOMs, ECOs, and revision-controlled documentation.
- Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO9001 regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing floor operations and troubleshooting issues in real time.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train operators and work cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment with hands-on interaction with the manufacturing team. Collaborative work with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Program Management in an AS9100 / ISO9001 regulated environment, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $79.00/hr.
