Responsibilities:
1. Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to existing operations.
2. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
3. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing solutions to realize these improvements.
4. Conduct PFMEAs to identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality, and logistics, to ensure alignment and cohesion in manufacturing processes.
6. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards across all manufacturing operations.
7. Train team members on new processes and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. One or more years of experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Experience with new product introduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement practices.
4. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
5. Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
6. Understanding of PFMEA's
7. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse groups to achieve common goals.
8. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
