About the Role
We are hiring an Electrical Engineer – New Graduate on behalf of one of our clients. This role focuses on supporting electrical maintenance, control systems, and reliability initiatives within a plant environment.
You will also be part of a structured 14-month graduate development program designed to provide hands-on experience and foundational knowledge across key operational areas. The program includes a combination of on-the-job training, classroom sessions, and project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety across all operations
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians and manage daily work assignments
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of maintenance work orders and proper documentation
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems
- Conduct inspections, collect and analyze data, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate electrical schematics and spare parts inventory records
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and maintain control systems and related equipment
- Develop, modify, and implement process control programs
- Troubleshoot control system hardware and software issues
- Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on control systems
- Support plant improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and cost efficiency
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Field of Study:
- Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel:
- Approximately 5% travel required
