Responsibilities
As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager, you will be expected to
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of various electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of motor, rotating equipment, and generators, ensuring they function optimally.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track.
- Help develop and implement project strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
- Proven experience in motor repair, rotating equipment, generators, and mechanical power transmission.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
