Role Overview:
We are seeking an Advanced Test Software Development Engineer to architect and implement automated test software frameworks for hardware verification and production testing in Richardson, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test software, scripts, and test benches for embedded hardware and electronic systems.
- Design modular, scalable test architectures using C , Python, C#, or LabVIEW/TestStand.
- Interface test software with test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, RF analyzers).
- Analyze automated test data, generate pass/fail yield reports, and diagnose firmware/hardware anomalies.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to define test plans and coverage metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4 years of test software development experience with automated test equipment (ATE).
- Proficiency in Python, C , or C# and instrument control protocols (GPIB, VISA, Ethernet, USB).
- Familiarity with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or custom test executive frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset and passion for test automation and continuous integration.
