Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Advanced Mfg Engineer II to optimize advanced manufacturing processes, implement automation, and enhance production efficiency in Tempe Junction, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and optimize assembly and manufacturing processes for high-precision electro-mechanical components.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate process bottlenecks, minimize scrap, and improve product yield.
- Design manufacturing fixtures, assembly tooling, and ergonomic workstations using 3D CAD modeling software.
- Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA), corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and PFMEA updates.
- Partner with product design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in precision electronics, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proven expertise with statistical process control (SPC/Cpk), Lean tools, and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) and ERP/MES manufacturing systems.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and technical project execution skills.
