- Lead the delivery of major initiatives, ensuring cohesion across multiple features and contributors.
- Coach and mentor engineers on design, coding, and best practices for scalable and maintainable applications.
- Guide software development processes, including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify and implement process and code improvements to optimize maintainability, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with product, design, sales, and client success teams to meet organizational goals.
- Communicate technical vision and initiative goals clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate solution options, presenting recommendations with considerations of scope, resources, and team capacity.
- Requirements
- 8 years of professional experience in software development, including 2 years in leadership or management roles.
- Strong technical expertise in Python, Django, Typescript with React, Java, Hibernate ORM, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku.
- Experience leading teams in Agile, Scrum, or Lean environments.
- Proven ability to coach engineers, manage complex initiatives, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, startup environments is preferred.
