Shop Mechanic – Truck Maintenance Livonia, MICompany is a fabrication facilityOverview Seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on box trucks, cargo vans, and fleet vehicles. This role is based in a clean, organized shop environment with a consistent 6am start time.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks and fleet vehiclesPerform routine maintenance: oil changes, brakes, tires, filters, PM inspectionsComplete work orders accurately and maintain service recordsUse diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely and effectivelyCommunicate repair needs and timelines with supervisorsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaRequirementsPrevious experience as a mechanic or fleet technicianStrong knowledge of truck systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.)Ability to troubleshoot independentlyComfortable working in a fast‐paced shop environmentMust have own basic toolsReliable transportation and strong attendanceSchedule & Pay6:00am - 2:30pm or 4:30pm (based on workload)Monday–FridayUp to $35/hr based on experiencePermanent position - Contract to Hire Company DescriptionJob&Talent, is an international leader in 3PL, distribution, food production, call center, professional, and manufacturing staffing.
