About the role
Join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing complex electronic instrumentation and hardware systems. This role focuses on end-to-end electrical design, prototyping, testing, and product development for advanced engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical/electronic hardware, including analog/digital circuits, PCB assemblies, and power systems
- Develop schematics, component specifications, BOMs, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation
- Support FPGA/VHDL-based hardware design, testing, prototype evaluation, and product validation
- Design cables/cable harness assemblies, grounding strategies, and support EMC/EMI compliance
- Drive DFM/DFT implementation, engineering change orders, and manufacturing transition support
- Conduct technical investigations, prototype testing, troubleshooting, and design risk evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of professional experience in electrical hardware / electronic product design
- Strong experience with FPGA, VHDL, analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and schematic capture
- Experience with power system design (DC voltage / instrument power systems) and EMC/EMI compliance
- Experience in medical devices, defense, or automation product development
- Preferred: Experience with electromechanical systems, stepper motors, and servo motors
