About the role
Join a quality-focused engineering team supporting supplier performance and product compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring supplier-delivered materials meet technical and quality requirements while partnering with engineering and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct source inspections, incoming inspections, and material surveys to verify supplier compliance
- Review Supplier First Article Inspections (FAIs) and support evaluation of new suppliers for approved supplier qualification
- Manage SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests), ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to support supplier selection based on risk, complexity, and commodity
- Ensure supplier adherence to defined quality and technical requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with PLM, MRP, MES, or ERP systems
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$58/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
