What You Will Do (The Day-to-Day):

• Service & Repair: Autonomously troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial overhead doors, high-speed coiling doors, dock levelers, seals, and vehicle restraints.
• New Installations: Assist in or lead the mechanical installation of new dock and door equipment at commercial facilities.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic low-voltage electrical issues in control panels and motor operators.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute high-quality maintenance on industrial equipment to keep our clients running smoothly and prevent emergency breakdowns.
• Customer Service: Act as the face of the company on-site, communicating effectively and honestly with facility managers and business owners.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• The Experience: 2 years of proven, hands-on field experience repairing or installing loading dock equipment, commercial overhead doors, or residential garage doors.
• The Technical Chops: Strong overall mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of basic electrical troubleshooting. (Welding experience is a fantastic bonus, but not strictly required).
• The Independence: You are a self-starter. You can take a service ticket, drive to the site, figure out the mechanical failure, and get it fixed.
• The Logistics: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be comfortable lifting heavy equipment (50 lbs), working at heights (scissor/boom lifts), and working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• The Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety and delivering a great customer experience.
