Duties

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols
• Oversee inventory control, food handling, and kitchen management to ensure optimal stock levels and quality standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety management and sanitation standards
• Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, supervising team performance, and resolving customer concerns promptly
• Lead staff training initiatives focused on food production, culinary techniques, hospitality management, and team leadership

Experience

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or casual dining settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety programs
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, staff training & development, interviewing, and performance evaluation
• Knowledge of catering, banquet service, bar operations, or food production is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage hospitality operations effectively
