Overview
We are actively seeking a dedicated and bilingual Production Scheduling Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in coordinating production schedules, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining optimal workflow within a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience working in a factory or warehouse environment. As well the person would works closely with production, warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams to balance demand, capacity, and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and capacity.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, material shortages, or labor changes.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly to production, warehouse, and customer service teams.
- Track order status and ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP or scheduling systems.
- Support inventory management by aligning production plans with inventory targets.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings related to demand planning, capacity planning, and operational performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and scheduling/ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with strong data accuracy skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Ability to analyze data trends and make informed planning decisions.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or distribution center environment.
- Office and floor-based work required.
- May require occasional overtime based on production needs.
