We have a great opportunity to join our Eau Claire, WI team as a Project Manager! This is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, role. The Project Manager oversees lighting projects from submittal through completion, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and a positive customer experience. As the primary client contact, they manage communication, expectations, and issue resolution while coordinating across teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical lighting knowledge, and proactive communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage project workflows, communications, and schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Oversee logistics, bid processes, and project documentation for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer issues, change orders, and risks to maintain project timelines.
- Monitor job costs, billing, and financial accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement through post-project reviews, market insights, and industry training.
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
Experience and/or Training
- 3 years of experience in project management, project coordinator, or related experience in electrical distribution, construction, manufacturing, or a similar technical/operations environment
- Ability to interpret technical lighting product information
- Experience using project management or job-tracking systems (ERP, CRM, or similar) to manage timelines, documentation, and project deliverables
- Hands-on experience coordinating project logistics, reviewing plans/specs, and supporting bid or project execution
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, manage change orders, and drive efficient workflows
- Experience with job costing, including invoice reconciliation, billing discrepancies, and expense tracking
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation and provide clear updates to stakeholders
- Proficiency with standard office and order management systems (e.g., Excel, Outlook; Eclipse preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred
- 5 years in electrical distribution or related experience preferred
