We have a great opportunity to join our Warehouse Team at our Plymouth, MN branch. The Warehouse Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the branch providing order and delivery services according to the mission and culture of JHL while meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the management team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations, while leading and developing the warehouse team.

Responsibilities Include:
- Pick, pack, and fulfill orders accurately and on time, including pipe and wire cutting as needed, while safely operating warehouse equipment.
- Lead 2nd shift warehouse operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods from receipt through dispatch and proper inventory handling.
- Provide direction, training, and performance feedback to team members to support productivity and accountability.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the Warehouse Manager and 2nd shift team to address inventory, order, and operational issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing procedures, monitoring equipment use and identifying risks.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, support special projects and initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
Experience and/or Training
- 3 years working in a warehouse environment as a team member, working with power equipment, and pulling orders.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced work environment
- A solid understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software or similar inventory tracking systems
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
- Ability to become forklift certified and train-the-trainer certified
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to collaborate within a multi-functional team
- Ability to work safely and accurately. Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to warehouse operations, such as OSHA regulations
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills
- Detail oriented, organized, consistent, and tenacious
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Interest in warehouse processes/procedures
- Experience increasing value/efficiency of warehouse procedures
- 1-2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse preferred
Licenses/Certificates
- Valid US Driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
