Our Core Values
Base pay of $30.00--$55.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime pay for all hours worked over 40. A shift premium of $6.00 per hour applies to second shift assignments. A travel premium of $2.00 per hour applies to AOG assignments. This position is classified as FLSA Non-Exempt.

Advanced Maintenance and System Repairs
- Perform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks independently on airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems across a diverse fleet of aircraft types.
- Execute turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups with precision and strict adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive airframe system and component changes, ensuring thorough systems checkout following each procedure.
- Install service bulletins and modification kits on airframes and engines in full compliance with manufacturer requirements.
- Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Access's continued growth and success.
- Interpret complex technical manuals, engineering drawings, and blueprints to guide maintenance procedures accurately and safely.
- Complete all aircraft manufacturer scheduled maintenance items with meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Sign off on accomplished work, including troubleshooting and deferred maintenance items, with proper documentation in accordance with FAA requirements.
- Build accurate client invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts markup calculations.
- Ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents and regulatory compliance forms.
- Perform routine inspections and comprehensive troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems to maintain airworthiness.
- Utilize precision equipment including tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and specialized hand tools to complete accurate, quality work.
- Maintain constant vigilance for safety protocols, ensuring all work adheres to the highest standards set by Jet Access and the FAA.
- Monitor operations to control labor costs and ensure efficient maintenance procedures without compromising quality or compliance.
- Verify proper equipment usage, acceptable parts installation, and approved hardware compliance on every task performed.
- Operate all power tools and specialized equipment necessary to accomplish maintenance assignments safely and effectively.
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate readings and consistent work quality.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment for specific maintenance tasks and aircraft configurations, adapting as required.
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the parts department for timely acquisition of components and approved hardware to support maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to share technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across aircraft types.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to remain current with evolving aircraft technologies, manufacturer updates, and FAA regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, contributing to the development of the maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding maintenance status, findings, and requirements.

The Skills You Carry In
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
- Minimum five years of experience with diversified jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft maintenance in an MRO environment.
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, modifications, or airframe sheet metal work.
- Proficiency operating all power tools and equipment required for aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, blueprints, and technical specifications with a strong understanding of jet and piston airframe and engine principles.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

- This is a full-time, on-site role based at assigned Jet Access maintenance locations; remote work is not available.
- The role requires prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
- Occasional travel is required for AOG support assignments at other locations.
- A valid state driver's license and clean driving record are required.

- Second shift assignments are available and carry a shift premium.
- Manages workload with strong personal accountability, completing assignments thoroughly before sign-off.
- Experience in a customer service-focused MRO facility performing inspections and repairs on client-owned aircraft.
- Prior experience with Embraer jet service
- Advanced knowledge of turbine engine systems and troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with multiple aircraft types and manufacturer maintenance specifications.
- Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems.
- Prior experience mentoring junior technicians or apprentices in an MRO or Part 145 environment.
