Key Responsibilities
- Lead underwriting for ABL transactions in consumer brands, primarily sponsor-backed companies.
- Structure, analyze, and recommend credit solutions for deals ranging from $10MM–$50MM.
- Manage multiple deals simultaneously, aiming for efficient execution and a quick turnaround.
- Provide insight and recommendations on portfolio strategy and risk management.
- Support the growth of the underwriting team, mentoring analysts as the team expands toward year-end.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree qualified with 7 years of experience in credit underwriting, private credit, or middle market lending, preferably with ABL exposure.
- Track record structuring and executing middle market transactions.
- Experience with consumer brands and sponsor-backed companies is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and independent judgment skills.
