What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compenstation Adjuster position at JCW Group?
JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialty property and casualty insurance organization for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment for ~6 months.
This is an opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the United States while handling complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims in Colorado. The successful candidate will bring strong technical claims expertise, excellent judgment, and the ability to independently manage claims from initial investigation through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and adjudicate complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims in accordance with applicable state regulations and company guidelines.
- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluate claims to determine coverage and potential exposure.
- Review policies, endorsements, claim documentation, and other relevant information.
- Manage litigated claims and work closely with defense counsel and other external partners.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims
- Active adjuster licensing as required for the jurisdiction.
