What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Wealth Advisor position at JCW Group?
Our client is a growing registered investment advisory (RIA) firm based in Washington. Backed by a well-established referral network, the firm is known for its strong track record of promoting from within. They're looking to add a Private Wealth Advisor to manage and grow relationships with their highest-value clients.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced advisor who wants significant autonomy, a warm referral pipeline, and the flexibility of a remote schedule at a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a book of high-net-worth client relationships
- Lead educational conversations with clients around investments and wealth management opportunities
- Guide clients through complex financial planning needs, including wills, trusts, and inheritance planning
- Convert qualified, warm leads into long-term advisory relationships
- Work alongside founders and senior advisors as business is passed through the firm's growing pipeline
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience at an RIA or sales-oriented advisory firm
- A sales-minded, relationship-driven approach to business development
- Series 65 or 66 license
- CFP, CFA, or CPWA designation is a plus, but not required
- 401(k) or retirement plan experience helpful
- Ideally located in the Pacific Northwest region
- Candidates with an existing book of business are welcome — compensation for a book can be discussed separately
