Assistant Project Manager
JamesCo Builders is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Central Florida.
JamesCo Builders is a fast growing, commercial General Contractor based in Mount Dora, FL. We cover the majority of the state of Florida with a wide variety of commercial construction projects ranging in size, dollar value, complexity, and industry. We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Project Manager, seasoned in the commercial construction industry to join our team, and help us Build Better. Together!
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with preconstruction efforts.
· Assists with reports regarding financial performance of the project.
· Manage subcontractor and vendor payment processes.
· Resolves conflict with subcontractors.
· Compiles reports regarding financial performance of the project.
· Prepare trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement process.
· Oversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems, maintain relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
· Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
· Review inspection and test data for compliance with specifications.
· Conduct quality control inspections.
· RFI and submittal processing.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year - Based on Experience
Benefits: Paid time off, Parental leave
Experience level: 1-3 years
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
Ability to commute/relocate: Mount Dora, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License
