Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a 404-bed teaching hospital and Level I Trauma & Stroke Center, is seeking Machine Waxer / Porters to join our Environmental Services team. We have immediate full-time and part-time opportunities available!
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain and clean carpet and hard surface floors.
✔ Operate commercial stripping, scrubbing, and buffing machines to wax, refinish, seal, and spot-clean floors.
✔ Disinfect and clean floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
✔ Properly store and maintain cleaning equipment in an organized manner.
✔ Handle spills, remove trash, and ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas.
✔ Follow Infection Control procedures for handling medical waste and biohazards.
✔ Perform various general custodial duties as needed.
💲 $21.42 – $22.61/hr. | 🏥 Jamaica Hospital Medical Center | Full-Time & Part-Time
📍 Shifts Available: Days | Evenings | Nights
📆 Must be available every weekend (Sat/Sun) & holidays
