Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Moorestown, NJ

Pay: $50,000–$55,000 annually

Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Job Summary: Our Client in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Junior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Review and process employee expense reports.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.

• Maintain and update vendor files.

• Handle phone calls from customers and vendors.

• Process daily bank statements.

• Assist with accounts receivable collections and follow up on delinquent accounts.

• Research and resolve customer account discrepancies.

• Assist with sales tax filings and business license management.

• Perform MOR reconciliations.

• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• 3 years of accounting experience.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and collections processes.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with accounting software (MFG Pro and/or NetSuite preferred).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
