Project Manager
J. A. Rosa Construction, LLC is a well-respected, medium sized general contractor operating in the commercial contracting market in Connecticut since 2000. The position requires the management of construction documents including but not limited to: contracts, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, operation and maintenance manuals. Also included in the job description is the preparation, implementation and maintenance of Affirmative Action Plans required by the State of Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities for selected state funded projects. Selected candidate would report to owner.
Responsibilities to include:
- Coordinate owner and general contractor contract documents
- Create and maintain subcontractor contract documents
- Coordinate product submittals
- Coordinate project close-out documentation
- Coordinate compliance with affirmative action as it relates to state funded projects
- Coordinate construction schedules and material/vendor procurement
- Work in team setting and coordinate well with other team members
Skills preferred:
- 5 years experience as a project manager in a general construction firm preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Knowledge of the following a plus: Microsoft Project Scheduling, Quantum Project Management Software, online project management software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
