Warehouse & Hardware Fulfillment Specialist

Contract consulting opportunity on a long term basis for a warehouse/hardware fulfillment specialist.

Client Requirements:

• Onsite 5 days/week - Minneapolis, MN area
• W2 hourly only (no C2C)
• Work authorization: US Citizen or GC holder

Seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse & Hardware Fulfillment Specialist to support hardware fulfillment and inventory operations. In this role, you will help support hardware across stores, distribution centers, and headquarters by managing hardware requests, tracking inventory, configuring devices, and coordinating shipping activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders while adapting to evolving operational priorities.

• Fulfill hardware requests for broken, replacement, or new equipment across facilities
• Pick, stock, track, configure, and ship hardware devices and equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory reconciliation activities
• Process warranties and support inventory lifecycle management
• Configure hardware and apply firmware or software applications as needed
• Partner with internal business teams to understand operational impacts and support needs
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels with internal stakeholders
• Adapt to changing priorities and support daily operational requirements

Responsibility breakdown:

• 60% – Hardware fulfillment, picking, and shipping
• 25% – Inventory tracking and reconciliation
• 15% – Hardware configuration and firmware application

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move pallets and packages weighing 25 lbs or more
• Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude
• High attention to detail with the ability to provide systematic reporting and maintain accurate records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with inventory systems and detailed data management
• Inventory management experience
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments with limited oversight
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Packaging experience
• Shipping and logistics experience
• Experience using inventory management systems
• Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint
• Technical degree or related education
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Interest in learning and supporting new and evolving technologies

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $28.00 - 31.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
