Position Details
Provide support across a single large project or multiple projects alongside Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers
Work within a self-perform environment, collaborating closely with craftsmen, foremen, and project owners
Assist in planning and executing mechanical projects from inception through completion, understanding all moving parts required to successfully manage delivery
Apply Lean principles to drive efficiency, while maintaining a strong understanding of client expectations and ensuring successful outcomes
Play a key role in project financial management, helping ensure projects stay on track and within budget
Build and maintain long-term client relationships beyond a single project
Mentor and support junior team members, helping develop the next generation of talent
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, mechanical piping, and overall system design and construction
Passion for planning, innovation, and continuous process improvement
Ability to think creatively and drive innovative construction methods, including prefabrication strategies
Proven experience managing mechanical construction projects within a mechanical or MEP contractor environment
High level of accountability with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Strong problem-solving ability with hands-on field experience and practical understanding of project execution
Demonstrated leadership skills, business acumen, and integrity
Solid understanding of project financials, including forecasting and cost control
Strong working relationships with field teams and an understanding of how to maximize team performance
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
7–10 years of relevant experience
Experience managing multiple MEP projects within an MEP contractor environment
Design/Build and IPD experience is a plus
Familiarity with Lean Construction tools is a plus
Experience in data centers, federal, industrial, and/or healthcare projects is preferred
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
