System Administrator

Take your IT expertise to the next level with our client, supporting a complex enterprise environment with Windows and Linux servers, VMware infrastructure, O365, and more. This role allows you to solve challenging technical problems across multiple platforms and have a direct impact on the organization’s technology backbone. You’ll design, implement, and maintain critical systems while mentoring others and shaping infrastructure decisions.

Compensation

• Salary: $95,000

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain IT hardware, software, OS, and applications independently
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, VMware, and O365 environments
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide Tier 3 support
• Design and manage application interfaces, dependencies, and system permissions
• Develop and maintain network and platform documentation
• Lead software/hardware upgrades and configuration efforts
• Mentor lower-level IT staff and provide guidance on technical issues

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• 5 years of related experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of VMware virtualization technology
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise storage
• Scripting experience (Linux shell, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex multi-platform issues
