What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence from draft or dictated text
• Generate pleadings and briefs with advanced Word formatting: TOC, TOA, cross-references, and Track Changes
• Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Convert PDF files to Word, cleaning up and reformatting as needed
• Manage workflow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Calendar critical deadlines and ensure accurate date calculations
• Mentor less experienced legal assistants

What You'll Need to be Considered:

• 4 years of legal assistant experience – must have a strong foundation in legal document preparation, calendaring, deadline management, and attorney support across one or more practice areas
• Advanced Word skills for legal documents, including TOC, TOA, cross-references, and Track Changes
• Comfortable in a team-based attorney support model, not a traditional one-to-one setup
• Genuinely enjoys mentoring less experienced teammates
• Experience transcribing from dictation or audio recordings
• Comfortable managing bar and court admissions and tracking attorney CLE
