Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Chief Financial & Strategy Officer (CFSO) to join our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will lead financial strategy, planning, analytics, and business performance initiatives while serving as a key advisor on growth, investment, and operational decisions.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of financial leadership, business acumen, and analytical expertise, with experience supporting growth-oriented organizations, preferably within subscription, technology, consumer products, or recurring revenue environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term growth strategies, financial plans, and investment priorities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, KPI development, and performance reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Drive analysis of recurring revenue, customer profitability, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Oversee business intelligence and analytics initiatives, leveraging data and emerging technologies to improve business performance.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth initiatives.
- Build and develop high-performing finance and analytics teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Present financial results, business insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, ownership, and board-level stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility.
- Experience within high-growth, subscription-based, SaaS, technology-enabled, or consumer products organizations.
- Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, forecasting, and business performance management.
- Experience with business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven success supporting growth initiatives, M&A activities, and cross-functional leadership teams.
