Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage and forecast company cash flow to support operational needs
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely account reconciliations
- Prepare and deliver financial statements and performance insights
- Present financial results and analysis to company leadership
- Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) and percentage-of-completion schedules
- Partner with external CPA firm and support annual audit activities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AP, AR, and Payroll teams
- Review and approve invoices, expenses, and company disbursements
- Oversee project billing and revenue recognition
- Manage payroll for office personnel, including tax filings and year-end reconciliation
- Coordinate annual insurance renewals and related compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
- Construction industry accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
