Accountant / Bookkeeper - REMOTE in Miramar, FL
Our client is seeking a hands-on Accountant / Bookkeeper to support accounting operations across a diverse group of 5–6 related businesses. This role offers exposure to multiple industries and real-time decision-making across AP, AR, reconciliations, and cost tracking. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same and adaptability is key.

Compensation
- $55,000–$75,000 base salary bonus opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage AP and AR across multiple related business entities
- Reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments
- Perform monthly bank and GL reconciliations
- Process landowner lease payments and trucking-related cost reconciliations
- Support job costing, inventory tracking, and cost accounting activities
- Maintain financial records in QuickBooks Desktop
- Assist with month-end reporting and CPA coordination
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Accounting, Finance, or related degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
- QuickBooks experience required
- Job costing or cost accounting experience is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Multi-entity accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a seasonal business environment
